Become a trailblazer
After you've completed the initial information on the apply now section, there are four other stages within the application process.
Stage 1 – Initial Application Process
The initial application will allow you to provide us with key information about you and what apprenticeship scheme(s) you might be interested in. This will include a personal information document and an apprentice application form. We are happy to accept applications for more than one apprenticeship – sometimes this is better as you can be considered for more than one role.
Stage 2 – Online Testing
If the results of your initial application look like we'd make a good match, we'll invite you to complete some online tests that are designed to assess some important basic skills, and to find out how you approach work.
Stage 3 – Telephone Screening Interview
If you successfully complete the online tests, we'll carry out a telephone interview. This is normally carried out by our highly experience training provider who will share the results with us. This takes place at an agreed time to ensure that you're not going to get interrupted and that you can fully focus on the questions that you are asked. Normally this would take around 30 minutes.
Stage 4 – Assessment Centre
If you have been successful in all of the other stages, you will be invited to one of our assessment centres. This will include a one to one interview and a mixture of group activities and can take up to five hours. We'll even throw in a bit of lunch to keep you going! During this time, we'll look at which department we feel you'd be best suited to. Our successful applicants will be contacted and offered a place on one of our apprenticeship programmes following this stage.
